During my internship at NVIDIA, I worked on implementing features for NVIDIA’s self-managed secrets management tools. Here are the key deliverables achieved at the end of the internship:
- Eliminated 1,000+ manual rotation for Cassandra application and user secrets by configure NVIDIA Vault (NVault) auto-rotation secrets using Ansible playbooks infrastructure as code (IaC)
- Deployed Cassandra database plugin for NVault secrets management to 70+ zones/clusters globally
- Wrote technical design documents detailing the configurations of the deployed solutions

YouVersion is a free Bible app that have more than 60 languages with 500 millions app installs all over the world. Our mission is to encourage and challenge people to seek intimacy with God every day. During my co-op experience, I gained the following experience and results:
- Mentored a newly hired junior engineer through 1-on-1 technical learning sessions, well-written documentation, and resources.
- Exposed 190+ critical vulnerabilities within Kubernetes containers by leading a strategic application security initiative, optimizing budget allocation, with a primary focus on container runtime security.
- Improved New Relic synthetic monitoring for YouVersion sites to achieve uptime of 99.95%.
- Implemented a disaster recovery backup for Argo CD; Reduced recovery time by more than 50% by leveraging Kubernetes CronJob as an integral part of the disaster recovery plan framework.
